Wales Rugby Team is at Gloria Sports Arena

Before the 2019 Rugby World Cup which will take place on September 20, 2019 to November 2, 2019 in Japan, Wales make their hot weather training camp in Belek, Antalya, Turkey.
With its Indoor, Outdoor, Aquatics and Health & Performance facilities and more than 50 sports equipments, Gloria Sports Arena is hosting Wales Rugby Team for nine-day training camp.

The Welsh Rugby Team underwent performance tests at the Gloria Sports Arena’s Sports Medicine & Athletic Performance Center and are conducting indoor and outdoor training.
The team is practicing in the hot summer weather to prepare for the World Cup in Japan. As well, they are replicating warmer conditions for their indoor training.

Wales Head of physical performance, Paul Stridgeon, said that: “We’re very grateful for the facilities we’ve got at this training camp, which are probably some of the best I’ve ever seen.
Everything is in close proximity: great gyms, cryotherapy, plunge pools, saunas, a fantastic pitch with a running track around it.
The hotel overlooks the pitch, the food is excellent and the staff can’t do enough for you.”
